Carl Earl "Hi" Chamberlain, 89, of Phoenix died Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at James Square Health & Rehabilitation Centre. He was a native and life resident of Phoenix. Hi was formerly employed with Caldwell & Ward Casting Co. in Syracuse and was a US Army veteran of WW II. Hi was a member of the Phoenix VFW and Commander of the VFW for several years.

He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Etta Mae Chamberlain in 2009.

Survivors: a sister, Helen Williams of Oswego, a brother, Lester Chamberlain of Phoenix; a sister-in-law, June Chamberlain of Florida; a niece and several nephews.

Services: Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
