William J. Typhair, 79, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at University Hospital. He was born in Carthage, NY, was a 20-year veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean War and was once a commander of the ROTC Drill Team at Syracuse University. He was a Personnel Manager at Syracuse Supply for 21 years and was also a TV repairman for 25 years. William was pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years, Audrey, in 2001, his parents, John and Beryl Typhair, two brothers, Earl and Junior and two sisters, Rose and Cecelia.

Survivors: daughters, Nadine (Greg) Grice of VanBuren and Barbara J. (Curt) Brown of Baldwinsville; son, Bill (Laurie) Typhair of Brewerton; sisters, Myrtle Simmons, Phyllis Allen, Mildred (Sonny) Mayer, Debbie (Bruce) Guest and brothers, Stanley (Barb) Typhair, Royal Typhair, Pete Typhair, and Clayton Typhair, all of Watertown; 5 grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services: 12:00pm Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 9am to 12pm Tuesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
