Bill "Bud, Gramps" Strife, 86 of Baldwinsville passed away on Friday. Bill was born in Marcy, NY and lived in Baldwinsville for 55 years. Just like his wife Dorene, his home, family, friends and community were important to him and he was a proud Navy Veteran.

Bill had longtime relationships in the community and was often seen walking or riding his bike throughout the community and always a right handed wave to anyone who passed him. Bill was usually seen sitting on his front porch reading a good book and fitting in a nap or two. Bill cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren making memories.

He was predeceased by his wife Dorene of 55 years, and his son's Jeffrey and Brian.

Bill is survived by his children Bill (Karen), Sandy (Bill); grandchildren, Dan and Ben Rabe, Jodi (Joe); and great grandchildren Jace and Jada; and siblings Gord and Gary Strife.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church, 17 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville.
