IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Bill"
Rumble
July 2, 1957 – July 18, 2023
William "Bill" Rumble, 66, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on July 18, 2023, with his family lovingly by his side after an incredibly happy life. Bill was born on July 2, 1957, to the late Lyle and Camelia (Moses) Rumble in Watertown, NY. He grew up playing sports, spending time with his extended family, and forging life-long bonds. Bill was a 1975 graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. He attended SUNY Geneseo where he became an accomplished lacrosse player, and received his Bachelor's in Economics. Later, he also completed his Master in Business Administration from Le Moyne College. Bill achieved the rare feat of spending his entire career, one that spanned 39 years and garnered countless laughs and friendships, at National Grid.
Bill's passions included golf, boating, and cheering on the NY Giants. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world and he was unendingly proud of his three children. He was their biggest supporter and protector. Everyone who knew Bill will remember his infectious laugh, easy smile, and quick wit. He always knew how to lighten the mood with a joke. A truly wonderful, selfless man, who just wanted to make sure everyone else was well.
He is survived by his fiancé, Cindy Logan who never failed to put a smile on his face; children, Shannon Rumble-Doeing (Luke Doeing) of Syracuse, Caitlin Rumble of Central Square, and William Rumble of Baldwinsville; sister, Karen Rumble-Needel (Stuart Needel) of Jupiter, FL.; several cousins and friends who were like family. We also can't forget, his beloved dog, Eli. He will forever be in their hearts.
To honor Bill, he would want you to tell the people you love that you love them as often as you can.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
