William A. "Bill" Lynch, 65, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday. Born in Syracuse, he was a self-employed handy man for many years.

Bill enjoyed working on his cars, fishing, horses, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Janet Ann Mason, 2019; parents, William and Nettie Lynch; grandson William M. Lynch Jr., 2005; and brothers, Ernest and Richard, Lynch.

Bill is survived by his children, Crystal M. Lynch, Chester A. Lynch, William J. Lynch, and Richard G. Lynch; siblings, Chester Lynch, Lucy White, Robert Lynch, George Lynch, James Lynch, Katherine Jessop, Susan Smart, and Deborah Burton; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Syracuse.
