William E. "Bill" Giddens III, 71, of Baldwinsville, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 7. Born in Newellton, LA, he was previously employed with Brown and Root in Arizona and retired in 2018 from DuPont. Bill enjoyed listening to the sound of trains, seventies music, and spending time with his family and dog, Walter.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Catherine Travers in 2009 and brother John.

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; daughters, Nancy (Pat) DeBarr of Baldwinsville and Dianna (Peter) Duran of Hereford, TX; son, Shawn Giddens of Richmond, VA; sisters, Margaret (George) Fristma and Virginia Yarbrough both of AL; brother, Edward Giddens of AL; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be calling no hours.  Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzehimer's Association, Central New York Chapter.
