William F. "Bill" Brauksieck, 86, a life long resident of Baldwinsville – Plainville, NY area, and most recently of Bellevue, NE, passed away at home, Saturday, June 1, 2013 after a brief illness. Bill served in WWII, was a graduate of the Industrial Training Institute of Chicago, IL and retired July 1984 after 31 years with Western Electric. After he retired he spent his time cooking and baking and he loved being in the kitchen trying out new spices and perfecting his "Chicken Vegetable Soup". On March 19, 2001, C. W. Baker High School presented him with his High School diploma through operation recognition. He was a life member of the New Outlook Telecom Pioneers. Bill was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy R Brauksieck and his son John E Brauksieck.

Survivors: daughters Sue (Edward) Domes of Bellevue, NE, Linda Pustejovsky of Wallis TX, and Sandra (Douglas) Taylor of Silver Spring; MD; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Henrietta Manual of Baltimore MD and Alice Dunham of Baldwinsville NY; brother James Brauksieck of Baldwinsville; many nieces and nephews; and his special "girls" from the Post Office, Dawn, Robin and Carol.

A Memorial Service and internment will be this fall in Plainville, NY.
