William E. Assenheimer, 71, passed away at home on March 25. Bill was born in Fulton and lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. He served in the US Army, graduated from Alfred University and received his Master's degree from Cortland. Bill enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets and loved to fish.
Bill is predeceased by his parents, Edwin, Jr. and Evelyn Wynne Assenheimer, sister, June Assenheimer and brother-in-law, Charlie Burgoon.
He is survived by three sisters, Liz (Ken) Claycomb Avery, Jo Nielsen, and Nanci Burgoon (Auburn NY); brother, Ed Assenheimer (Rochester NY); many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 11:00 to 1:00pm Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A service will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home.
