Wayne J. Burgess Jr. , 64, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, he retired from Kenworth Northeast Trucking in Syracuse after many years and was previously employed with Milton CAT.

Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and race cars. He was an avid NY Giants and SU Basketball fan.

He was predeceased by his parents, Wayne and Carol Burgess; brother, Robert Burgess; and nephew, Jason Cowen.

Surviving are his children, Erica (Jason) Garelick of Baldwinsville and Amanda (Benjamin White) Burgess of Liverpool; three sisters, Jackie, Linda, and Cindy; seven grandchildren; seven nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Sunday, October 20 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A service will follow at 12 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the KMFC at Crouse Hospital.
