Ward F. Hammond, 81, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday at his home with his loving family by his side. Ward was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and received his Associates Degree from Syracuse University. He retired in 1995 after 45 years at Carrier Corp., Syracuse.

Survivors: his wife of 44 years, Elaine L.; daughter, Deborah E. (Layton) Kerr of Ottawa, Ontario; son, David Ward of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Layton Ward Kerr and Adelaine Kathleen Kerr; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Friday, October 5, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
