Walter "Scott" Thomas Jr., 75, of Phoenix, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday. Born in Phoenix, he was a 1970 graduate of Phoenix High School.
Scott retired from Syroco in Baldwinsville after 30 years in hydraulics and supervision. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and NASCAR fan. He spent summers at Black Lake and was a "jack of all trades" who enjoyed woodworking, especially with furniture and around the house.
He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Autumn Thomas; grandson, Cody Pollic; and many siblings.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 44 years, Lynda; daughters, Crystal (Scott Demott) Thomas, Lorie (Mark West) Thomas, April (Gerald) Barrington, and Ericka (Chad) Bluhm; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Graham; and several nieces and nephews including, Nathan Hawker with whom Scott shared a special bond.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be private.
