Obituary

Walter G. Shelhamer, 88, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Drums, PA and lived in Baldwinsville over 50 years. He was a retired watch and clock repairman. Walter was a life member of the Central City Riverside Chapter #70 Royal Arch Masons, serving as High Priest and District Deputy. He was also a life member of F&AM Seneca River Lodge #160. Walter was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Glenna in September of 2006.

Walter was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors: his daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Dan Murphy of Baldwinsville; his son, Gary W. Shelhamer of Dryden; four grandchildren, Kevin and Kelsey Murphy and Jacob and Jessie Shelhamer; four sisters, Miriam Walton, Josephine Kinsey, Marie Carey, and Janet Mayrovitz; two brothers, Donald and Harry Shelhamer; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Saturday May 5, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, 17 W. Genesee St., Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday May 4, 2007 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
