Virginia E. Stadelmaier passed away unexpectedly September 23, 2006 at her home on Jones Road, Syracuse, NY. She was born in Verona, NY on July 19, 1918 to Leslie and Clara Eckard. The joy of Virginia's life was playing banjo. Many folks in the area will remember her. She also played her piano/organ and keyboard.

She was married to Herbert Stadelmaier who predeceased her in 1988. She is survived by her son, Edward (Cathy) A. Stadelmaier of Syracuse; a granddaughter Heather (Chris) Purcell and great granddaughter Morgan.

At the request of Virginia, a private cremation and interment was a Verona Cemetery, Verona, NY. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has charge of arrangements.
