Virginia R. Cassavaugh, 84, of Baldwinsville died Friday, October 14, 2005 at Community-General Hospital. She was a native of Baldwinsville and a graduate of the Baldwinsville Academy. She worked for several years for Prestolite Corp. in Syracuse, was a Charter Member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #644 in Baldwinsville and a social member of the Baldwinsville VFW Post 153. She belonged to several bowling leagues and enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Virginia was predeceased by her daughter, Sally Rice in 1974 and her husband, Herbert in 1986.

Survivors: a son Ricky and his wife Mindy of Baldwinsville; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-8pm Monday, October 17, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
