Virginia C. Kompe Candee, 77, of Baldwinsville died Saturday, September 26, 2003 at St. Josephs Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and lived in the Baldwinsville area most of her life. Virginia was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and a member of the Betsy Baldwin Chapter of the DAR. She was a life member of the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps and a former member of the Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Dept.

Survivors: her husband of 52 years, Irving G. Candee; two daughters, Judith (Robert) Medina of Camillus and Jackie Kowalski of Baldwinsville; three sons, Kevin (Judith) Candee of Hinsdale, IL, Michael (Kim) Candee and Jeffrey (Kelly) Candee both of Baldwinsville; a sister, Shirley (Ken) Nordheim of Liverpool and eleven grandchildren.

Services: 10:00 am Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
