Obituary

Victor Joseph DeJohn Jr., 55, of Baldwinsville, passed away on August 3, 2026.

Born August 11, 1970, in Syracuse, Vic worked as an electrical engineer before retiring to operate his own business. He was the kind of person who could fix just about anything. Whether it was a golf cart, a car, or a project for a family member or friend, Vic was always willing to lend a hand. Honest and straightforward, he spoke his mind, offered practical advice, and was someone others knew they could depend on.

Above all, Vic cherished his family. His wife, Amy, was his rock and his best friend, and together they built a life filled with travel and shared experiences. They enjoyed taking family trips, attending sporting events and concerts, and exploring national parks with their daughters, Emily and Anna. He was immensely proud of his girls and loved cheering them on at their sporting events.

Vic also had a passion for classic cars, especially his 1967 Camaro, and enjoyed countless hours in his barn, where he was happiest working on projects and tinkering with whatever needed attention.

Vic was predeceased by his father, Victor DeJohn Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Amy DeJohn; daughters, Emily and Anna; mother, Betty DeJohn; sister, Kim Cehi; brother, Tony DeJohn; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Liverpool Elks Lodge, 3730 Cold Springs Rd., Baldwinsville.
