Veronica M. Eason, 81, passed away at home on Saturday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph and Frances Frey and lived in the area her entire life. Veronica graduated from Assumption High School in 1956 and retired from Brink's, Inc. after 27 ½ years of service. She was a very proud and dedicated mother and friend. Family and faith were the most important things to Veronica, she was often thought of as a second mother to many of her neighbors.
Veronica is predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Eason in 2015, and her brothers, Joseph Jr, Robert, Charles, and Bill Frey.
Veronica is survived by her sons, Christopher and James (Stacie) Eason; brother, Edward Frey; grandchildren, Mindy Correia, Christopher, Derek, Tyler, Zachary and Mackenzie Eason; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kasandra, Joshua, Courtney, Christopher, Isaac, Owen, Hudson, and Lucas; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4:30-7:30 pm Wednesday, June 17 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A private service will follow.
