Vera M. Scott, 83, of W. Genesee Rd., Plainville died Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at Community-General Hospital, Onondaga. She was born in Canton, NY and worked at General Electric in Liverpool for several years retiring in 1965. She previously worked at Pilgrim State Hospital in Long Island. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Cato.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, John J. Scott; two daughters, Mary Roth of Meridian and Patricia Hemler of Cato; five sons, William H. Scott of Hannibal, John Scott of Baldwinsville, Gary Scott of Victory, Robert Scott of Hannibal, David Scott of Meridian; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 12:00pm at St. Patrick's Church, Cato. Burial at Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Calling hours are 4-8pm Friday, July 13, 2001 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church Building Fund, E. Mechanic Street Cato, NY 13033.
