Thomas Pillans, 83, passed away Tuesday, August 18 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born to George and Daisy Pillans and was a long-time resident of Baldwinsville. Tom served in the US Air Force and worked for Niagara Mohawk for 34 years. He enjoyed golfing but above all, loved being with his family and he adored his grandchildren.
Tom is predeceased by his parents and siblings, Daisy, George, Robert, Richard, and Mary.
Tom is survived by his wife of 61 years, Yvonne "Pidge" Pillans; children, Lisa (William) Renihan and their son, Zachary, and Cynthia (Christopher) Schultz and their daughter, Rachael; sister, Jane (Dean) Palmer; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Milton.
Funeral Service is 11:30 am Saturday, August 22 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Private burial in Riverview Cemetery.
