Thomas Meloling passed away on September 27th surrounded by his family. Thom lived his entire life in the village of Baldwinsville and worked for Morris Pumps, which later became ITT Goulds Pumps, for over 50 years.

Thom was deeply invested in his community and his children's lives. He spent years helping to build the Baldwinsville PeeWee Wrestling Club, volunteered as the Baldwinsville Marching Band's Equipment Manager, was an integral member of the local Boy Scout Troop, clocked many hours at the rink, speed skating with his children and could always be seen front and center at his son's gigs over the years. He loved to travel and enjoyed 25 spring breaks in the Outer Banks with family and friends and countless days cruising the high seas with his favorite travel companion, Babe. Happiest when surrounded by family and friends, he was a devoted grandfather that cheered his grandchildren on at sporting events, concerts, dance competitions and anything else his famous whistle was needed for. He had a joke for every moment and multiple catchphrases that will live on in the memories of all who knew him.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart, Joanne "Babe", his three children, Jeffrey (Jenn), Jeremy (Katie) and Jennifer (Dan), grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia, Riley, Collin, Gage, Dustin, Greyson, Emmett, Landon, Skylar, and Jonah as well as two great grandchildren, Holland and Annie, many nieces and nephews and two sisters (Gayle and Martha) and two brothers (Richard and Peter). He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Betty, and his brother, Norman.

Calling hours will be combined with a Celebration of Life to be held at the Aspen House in Radisson (Baldwinsville, NY) beginning at 4:00pm on Friday, October 2nd. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Camillus Nursing and Rehabilitation in Syracuse.
