Thomas C. Howard, 94, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on May 3, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant, NY the son of the late Clarence & Gaynell Washer Howard. Thomas served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korea War. He retired from R.E.Deitz in 1986 after 43 years. Thomas was a member of the American Legion Post #113 and was the Past Commander of the VFW Post 153 in 1967-68 and 1972-73.

Survived by his wife of 71 years Jean Bort Howard; daughter, Donna (Richard) Butera; sister, June Young; grandchildren Nicole (Scott) Dodge and Charlene (Chris) Banuski; great-granchildren: Adrianna, Ashli, and Chloe Dodge, Steven Banuski, Mckenzee Gould and Emma Banuski.

Services will be 10 am Tuesday, October 10 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Burial is in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Monday, October 9 at Falardeau Funeral Home. Following the services at the cemetery a reception and celebration of his life will be held at the VFW Post 153, Salina St. & Wood St., Baldwinsville.
