Thomas Peter Desimone, 75 of Baldwinsville, passed away on June 15, 2025, following a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on December 15, 1949, in Binghamton, Tom was a graduate of Susquehanna Valley High School, Class of 1967. Tom served his country as a Marine in Vietnam, a part of his life that deeply shaped him. For many years, he made his mark in customer service with US Airways in Syracuse, NY.

Tom was a lifelong athlete, especially passionate about softball. He played for local teams like the Syracuse Cyclones and The Clam Bar, connecting with teammates and friends over countless games. Beyond softball, Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hiking, often sharing his adventures with friends and family.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, Onofrio and Helen Desimone and brother Joseph Desimone

Surviving are his children, Matthew, Nathan (Lauren), Ashton (Ron Priest), and Cameron (Ashley Hicks); companion Denise Evans; siblings, David, Gary (Mary), Lisa (Chris) Delavera, Ava (DJ) Clark, Adelyne (John) Veruto; 7 grandchildren; and many neices, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 22, 1-4PM at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23, 11AM, at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery in Binghamton.
