Theresa C. DeShane, formally of Jordan, NY, passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2019 at the Syracuse Home McHarrie Place in Baldwinsville, NY. She was born on April 11, 1932 in Syracuse to Charles and Erma VanSlyke and is predeceased by her husband Clarence Fredrick DeShane, brothers Henry and Charles VanSlyke and sister Alice Baker. As a young girl Theresa worked at Syracuse General Hospital and as a young mother at Felix Poultry Farm. She is survived by her son Steven (Ann) DeShane, daughter Susanne (David) Younis, grandchildren Brian (Pamela) DeShane, Kelly (Larry) Ochsner, Jason (Diana) Warner, Jeffrey (Malia) Warner, David (Erika) Younis, Melissa (Mathew) Taubman, fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place, especially Unit Two where Theresa has spent five and one half years, for their compassionate and loving attention and care she received.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution can be made in her honor to McHarrie Life (Activities Dept.) 7740 Meigs Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
