Terry F. Payne, 57, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully Sunday after a long illness with his family by his side. Terry, a United States Army Veteran, was an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking with his family and friends. He also had a passion for astronomy and was previously a president of the Syracuse Astronomical Society.

Terry is predeceased by his father, William Payne.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Susan M. Payne; mother, Shirley A. Payne; children, Amanda (Ed) Kelly, Emily (Dan) Payne, and Nicholas Payne; grandchildren, Gabriella Payne and Edward Kelly; and brother, Gregory (Darlene) Payne.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville.
