Teresa Ann VanMarter, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on May 12, 1964, Terry lived a life rich with laughter, love, and cherished moments.

A proud graduate of Fowler High School, Terry dedicated many years to working at Jreck Subs, where she became a beloved member of the community.

Throughout her life, Terry faced numerous challenges, but she lived much longer than initially anticipated-a testament to her resilience, strength, and zest for life.

A woman of many interests, Terry enjoyed writing notes, playing solitaire, traveling, listening to The Monkees, and spending time at family gatherings, where more of everything was always on her plate.

Terry leaves behind her sisters, Sue, Bonnie, and Cindy, and her brother, Randy; numerous nieces and nephews; and a gaggle of great-nieces and great-nephews, who will all miss her playful personality, infectious laughter, and loving presence.

Terry was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Bev VanMarter.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
