Sylvia (Tosi) Cornacchio, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Syracuse Home Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was predeceased by Michael, her loving husband of 58 years, in 2004.

Sylvia was born in Thionville (Moselle) France and, as a war bride, moved to Utica, NY in 1946. There she worked at the Boston Store and was later a keypunch operator for Amco Methods. In retirement she relocated to N. Ft. Myers where she enjoyed family, friends and gardening. With the loss of her husband Michael, Sylvia moved to Baldwinsville, NY in 2007 and later resided in Syracuse Home.

Surviving are her children, Earl Cornacchio of Baldwinsville, NY and and Michele Godemann of Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Kristi Cornacchio of NY City, Michael Godemann of Covington, GA and Carin (Godeman) Henry of Conyers, GA and a great-grandson, Avery Godemann of Covington, GA.

A private service was held in accordance with Sylvia's wishes.
