Susan "Suzie" Benedetti, 84, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday, August, 9, at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she was employed with the Hartford Insurance Company for over 30 years.

Suzie enjoyed, camping, baking, puzzles, trips to the casino, and playing BINGO. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and going on vacation.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; sisters, Lucille Cassano and Mary Jane DelFuoco; and brother, Alex DelFuoco.

Surviving are her children, Christine Wilgosz, Robin (Ken Ruscitto) Benedetti, of Fulton, Joseph (Trish) Benedetti of Baldwinsville, and Melissa (Mark) MacConaghy of Baldwinsville; sister, Terry (David) Brigandi of Syracuse; and brother, Michael DelFuoco; sister-in-law, Mary Lynn (Charles) Dreer of Solvay; and brother-in-law, John Cassano of Lakeport; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 4 p.m at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be private in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
