Suellen Stoddard has embarked on her eternal voyage, departing from Crouse Hospital on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born in Fulton to parents, Clarice and Merlin Rutledge. She graduated from Fulton High School and attended Ithaca College; for most of her life, she lived in the Baldwinsville area.
Suellen retired from Honeywell in 2014 and was a former member of the Betsy Baldwin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed fitness activities; long distance walking, workouts at the gym, dance classes, and exercise classes with friends. Suellen was accomplished in quilting, crocheting and sewing.
Suellen loved to travel and cruise; Greece and Italy were among her favorites as well as Alaska and the Canadian Rockies.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Joel, daughters Joellen and Krista, and grandson Brandon.
Suellen is survived by her son Jeffrey, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers Gary (Mary) and Paul (Carol) Rutledge, and several nieces and nephews.
Suellen's family would like to express their appreciation for the care and compassion provided by her treatment team at HOA and Crouse Hospital.
