Steven G. Rode, 53, of Baldwinsville passed away on Friday at Upstate Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a 1989 graduate of Charles W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. Steven was a member of the Lysander Fire Department.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and June Rode.

Steven is survived by his sister, Michelle Berkey of Baldwinsville; godmother, Karen Lum of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 14 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
