Stephen Bocyck, 85, has left the room. He was born in Syracuse to Joseph and Lillian Bocyck. Steve was a 19-inch operator for Crucible Steel where he worked for 45 years. He lived on the water most of his life and loved everything that went with it, including boating, water skiing, and fishing. Steve was an ardent racing fan and enjoyed going to the local race tracks. He was also a cobbler and could build almost anything.

Steve is predeceased by his siblings, John, Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary, Barbara, and Tom.

Steve is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elaine Snyder Bocyck; children, Shirley (Tom) Sears, David Bocyck, Christopher (Roxanne) Bocyck, Mary (Ken) Beckering, and Wendy Hardesty; brother, Gerald (Joanna) Bocyck; sister-in-law, Gloria Bocyck; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm Tuesday, November 5 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville.
