Sigmund "Siggy" Mazur, 43, passed away Thursday at University Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to Sigmund V. and Michelle Robinson Mazur. Siggy was a graduate of CBA in 1995 and LeMoyne College in 1999. He was a social worker for Enable and Access CNY. Music was Siggy's outlet and he played the guitar and classical piano. He loved fly-fishing and fishing on Oneida Lake and its creeks. Siggy was a creative cook who also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his twin sons.
Siggy is predeceased by his uncle, John Robinson.
Siggy is survived by his parents Sigmund and Michelle Mazur; sons, Lucian and Anthony Mazur; brother, John (Claudia) Mazur and their daughter, Audrey; aunts, Jackie Ferrell and Cheryl Robinson; uncle, Douglas Robinson; and many cousins.
Graveside Service is 10 am Tuesday, September 1 at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 8668 Route 57, Baldwinsville.
