Shirley M. Rode, 90, of Baldwinsville, NY, was taken into the arms of our Lord on the morning
of Thursday, May 21, 2020. She is survived by her children, Carl (Arlene), William (Deborah),
Susan (John) Andaloro, Roger (Candi), Christine (Robert) Lytle, and Mark (Patricia); her
brother, Arthur Sochia; her 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Shirley was highly involved in the local community and church. She was historian at St.Mary's
Church for many years, routinely volunteered at many local events and was very active in the
Baldwinsville Community Band. Most recently, she enjoyed spending time at Canton Woods
playing bingo and card games and helping with Peace lunches,
A private graveside service was held Tuesday, May 26, at St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date.
