Shirley B. Pavetto, 90, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the home of her daughter after a long illness.

Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Frances and Harry Browne and her husband John Pavetto. She is survived by her siblings, Ellene Smith, Kenneth Browne (Mary May), and Sandra Foglia. Her children, Christina Pavetto, Denise Dann (Dave), Stephanie Pavetto (Jamie), and grand and great-grandchildren; Stephen Bond, Jonathan Bond, Ryan Dann (Ulaize), Leah Gorbunov (Aleksandr), Owen Dann, Evan Pavetto-Stewart, Avery Pavetto-Stewart, Jesse Freeman, Finneus Gorbunov, Juniper Gorbunov and Ametza Troyas Pavetto.

Shirley was a dedicated career educator. She was a Physical Education teacher and multi-sport Coach at St. Mary's in Baldwinsville for many years before finishing her career as a Physical Education/Health teacher, Coach and Athletic Director at Bishop Grimes High School. She touched many lives and truly loved all of the students and families she encountered over the years.

Shirley loved to be active and involved making many lifelong friendships along the way. In her younger years she was the Drum Major for her high school band and played a number of sports. She was active in several community groups where she made her home in Phoenix, NY and school groups through her career such as the Bishop Grimes Theatre group. As an adult, she particularly loved to golf and travel. She and her husband John had many wonderful travel adventures together.

Throughout all of this, Shirley and John loved and supported their daughters and their families. Together, they created a lifetime of memories their children will always cherish.

**Shirley's daughters would like to extend a very special thank you to the many caregivers who lovingly helped them care for their mom. You are all extraordinary people whose kindness and dedication has been greatly appreciated.

Calling hours will be held from 10 - 11:30AM, Monday, August 5, 2024 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12PM, St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville.
