Shirley M. Monica, 78, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Syracuse Home Assoc. She was a native of Baldwinsville and very much enjoyed her volunteer work at the Syracuse Home Assoc. Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors: three daughters, Denise (Frank) Calesciabetta of Auburn, Debra Villani of Manahawkin, NJ, Dawn Hotte of Fayetteville, NC; seven sons, Douglas Weare of Syracuse, Darrell (Michele) Weare of Phoenix, NY, David Weare of Tampa, FL, Robert Monica of Baldwinsville, Gerald Monica of Baldwinsville, Jesse Monica of E. Syracuse, NY and Michael Monica of Baldwinsville; several grandchildren and great gransdchildren.

Services: 11:00am Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Oakwood Cemeteries, Syracuse. Calling hours are 5-8pm Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
