Shirley M. Doty Messier, 71, of Port Byron died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Andrew P. Messier in 2000.

Survivors: two children, Marie Wood and Stephen Hnatko; five step-children; Sally M. Bozeat, Kathy Bozeat, Barbara Thomas, Dave Merkley and Herb Merkley; four siblings; Charlotte France, Carol Connors Donald Doty and Ronald Doty; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 5:00pm Friday, January 9, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Spring burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge. Calling hours are 2-5pm Friday, January 9, 2004 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
