Shirley M. Fortino, 82, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Rosewood Heights Health Center, Syracuse. She was born in Utica and has lived in the Syracuse area most of her life. She worked for Smith Corona and Syracuse China where she met her future husband of 25 years, Louie. Shirley was an avid gardener, animal lover and always loved a good game of Gin Rummy. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis D. Fortino, parents, Harold & Gladys Steenbergh and sister, Delores Bombardo.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna (Paul Forbes) Fortino of Weedsport and Debra Fortino of Syracuse; brother, Harry (Dolores) Steenbergh of Tully; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, June 14, 2013 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Graveside Services at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners will be 10:00am Saturday, June 15, 2013.
