Sharon Marie Landers, 58, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday April 1, 2016 after a 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Sharon was born in Berlin, NH on June 23, 1957, the daughter of Joseph Donald and Lillian Rose Marie Micucci Fortier. Sharon was a graduate of Berlin High School class of 1975. After moving to Baldwinsville, NY, she began her 21 year career at MultiMed Billing Service. She worked her way up through the company to her current position of Vice President. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, watching Syracuse basketball, traveling, gardening, antique shopping, and playing slots and bingo at any casino she could find. Sharon was an amazing woman, who was incredibly hard working, funny, caring, and compassionate, and she will be missed by all.
She is survived by her longtime companion of 15 years, Greg Hacker; her daughter, Jessica, and husband Timothy Tucci of Baldwinsville, NY; her son, Patrick Landers and companion, Samantha Kolbasook of Baldwinsville, NY; her mother, Lillian Micucci Fortier of Berlin, NH; Her two sisters, Patricia and husband Christopher Glenney of Milan, NH, and Deborah and husband Douglas Roy of Berlin, NH. Her brother, Joseph Jr. and Alyssa Fortier of West Chesterfield, NH. Her nieces, Gabriella Fortier and Madison Roy. Her nephews, Douglas Roy Jr, Douglas Roy III, Nicolas Fortier, and Alexander Fortier. Her two step-daughters, Katey Hacker of Liverpool, NY and Kasey and husband David Ebert of Highland, NY. Her beloved grandchildren; Olivia Tucci, Cameron Landers, and Trevor and Preston Ebert. And her long time best friend Susan Small of Berlin, NH. Sharon was predeceased by her father, Joseph Donald Fortier, Sr.
A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville, NY on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11AM. A private graveside service will be held following the mass for immediate family only.
