Sergei M. Yevich, 55, of Baldwinsville died Sunday. Born in Detroit, he lived in Baldwinsville since 1973. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received his master's degree from the University of Toronto. He was an architect and urban planner for more than 25 years and a partner with Quinlivan Pierik & Krause of Syracuse. He was chairman of the Baldwinsville Planning Board, a member of the board of directors of the Syracuse Home Association and a member of the Baldwinsville Canal Corridor Committee. He was a United States Swimming Club-certified official and was active with the Baldwinsville Sharks swim team.

Survivors: His wife of 30 years, Beverly Vanoss; a daughter, Kathryn Yevich of Washington, D.C.; his stepmother, Eleanor Yevich of Largo, Fla.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
