Sarah C. Perkins, 42, passed away Friday related to complications from surgery. She was born in Syracuse to Thomas and Roxanne Cumm Perkins and lived in Baldwinsville her entire life. Sarah graduated from CW Baker High in 1996 and OCC in 2000. She worked at the Women's Place North for 12 years and was also a B'ville Police Dept. Dispatcher from 1999-2002. Sarah loved tenting and would camp in Tupper Lake and Limekiln Lake annually with her family and friends. Sarah also loved wolves and her room was filled with pictures of them.
Sarah is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Evelyn Perkins, maternal grandfather, Lawrence Cumm, uncle, Richard Perkins, and cousin, Duane Woodall.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Thomas and Roxanne Perkins; sister, Jennifer (Mark Stevens) Vann; grandmother, Marceline Cumm Ecker; aunts and uncles, Ann Marie Perkins, Ellen and Jeff Stevens, Sue and Duane Woodall, Lawrence and Lynore Cumm, and Joan Perkins; and several cousins.
Calling hours are 4-7 pm Tuesday, December 8 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. COVID guidelines will be followed. A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Wednesday, December 9 at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Central NY Chapter, 200 Gateway Drive Bldg C, Syracuse, NY 13212, St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027, or the Baldwinsville Fire Dept. 7911 Crego Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
