Sandra Karen Sollars, 66, passed away at St. Luke's Health Care Facility on Tuesday, August 31. She was born to Ronald and Carole Sollars and lived in the area for most of her life. Sandra was a 1973 graduate of C.W. Baker High School and worked in numerous capacities over the years, finishing her career at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Medical Billing Department. Sandra was an avid seamstress and cake decorator and enjoyed teaching her nieces and nephews her special talents that they carry on today. Sandra was very generous and kind to everyone she met and had a smile that would light up the room. She was very genuine and spread joy to everyone she met. Her greatest love was spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Sandra is predeceased by her father, Ronald Sollars, sisters, Rhonda Dyer and Robin Kelly.
Sandra is survived by her mother, S. Carole Thompson Sollars, companion of 35 years, Eric Plunkett; sisters, Carole (Kenyon) Donhauser and Dawn Sollars; nieces and nephews, Emily (Phillip), Brodie, Elizabeth (Sean), Sheldon (Tabatha), Brandon (Kim), Rebecca (Ryan), Nathan (Carrie), Austin (Haley), Hunter, Blake, and Logan; great-nieces and nephews, Caroline, Kendall, Robin, Zach, Connor, and Mya; and Godchildren, Tim and Monet.
