Sandra C. Norton, 77 of Baldwinsville passed away at home on Friday surrounded by her loving family. A 1961 graduate of Valley Academy, Sandra moved to Baldwinsville in 1971 where she became an integral part of the community, where her greatest accomplishment was as the owner and operator of the book nook, a place where she made a positive impact on the lives of countless people, and those interactions made a great impact on her. In addition to the book nook, she was a past director and chairman of the Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce, Past President of Baldwinsville Village Merchants Association, a Volunteer for children with special needs, past vice president and membership chair of Reynolds School Association, and most recently a Marketing Acquisition Retention Manager for BJ's wholesale club.

Sandra was predeceased by her Husband, Henry, in 2013, father, Charles Vinal, parents, William, and Ruth Shanley and her Nana, Zelda Fagner.

Surviving are her children; Laurie Leigh (Brendan) Connor, Kimberley Leigh (James) Bohen, grandchildren; Alexis Olivia Fodora (Cory Brewer), Arionna White (James Felix), and her partner Arthur Prest.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Camillus on Wednesday at 10:00 am with burial to follow in Valley Cemetery.
