Salvatore J. Grella, 97, passed away Monday at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Sal served in the US Army and was a WW II Veteran. He was a welder and worked for Carrier Corporation for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, fishing and camping.

Sal is predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Grace, daughter, Diane Grella, and daughter-in-law, Debbie Grella.

Sal is survived by his daughters, Sally Jo Howell and Denise (Dana) Howell; sons, David (Beth), Daniel, and Gary (Donna) Grella; grandchildren, Karen, Paul, Kathryn, Patrick, Rebecca, Miranda, and Kory; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm Thursday, May 23 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial is 8 am Friday, May 24 at St. Patrick's Church, 28 N. Main St, Jordan. Burial is in Kingdom Cemetery.
