Sally Rose Ray (Burns), 88, of Jordan, New York, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2026.

Sally was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her love of football began during her years as a high school cheerleader and continued throughout her life. She was a devoted New York Giants fan and enjoyed dirt modified racing, a reflection of her sassy and spicy personality.

Sally is survived by her sister, Joyce Bird; son, Jeff Burns; daughter-in-law, Trudy Burns;

grandchildren, Gary Burns Jr., Tabatha (Sheldon) Housel, Christa Burns, Valerie Wolterding (Burns), Zachary Burns, and Cassie Shermer; and great-grandchildren, Devin and Cierra Wolterding and Alivia Maxwell.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Ray, and sons, Gary Burns and David Burns.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m.
