Ruth Berry, 85, passed away in Iowa. She was born October 25, 1930 in North Syracuse, the daughter of Milan and Mary Larcom Hinman. She attended Marcellus High School and Central City Business Institute. After graduating, she moved to Schenectady; where she worked most of her career at General Electric. She retired to the Baldwinsville area for 20 years, and then spent the last few years in Akron, Iowa. She was a past member of Schenectady Church of the Nazarene, and the Baldwinsville Christian Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and Volunteering at the Baldwinsville Visitor's Center. Predeceased by her parents; her brother: Richard Hinman; and a sister: Alice Robinson.
Survived by her 4 children: Linda Scheibe, Roy (Sally) Berry, Janet (Tom) Rasbeck and Barbara (Michael) O'Byrne; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother: Norman (Matilda) Hinman; sister: Olive Hinman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be on October 15th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
