Roy J. Potucek, 64, of Cato, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Somerset, England, was a 1963 graduate of Phoenix High School and earned his Bachellor's Degree at SUNY Oswego College. He taught Industrial Arts / Technology for 30 years at Liverpool High School, retiring in 2000. Roy was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, the 1st Vice Commander of the Cicero American Legion Post 787 and a life member of the Baldwinsville VFW Post 153. He was an associate of Harolds Auto Repair Shop for 30 years in Baldwinsville.

Surviving: his wife of 37 years, Diane J.; his son Christopher R. of Cato; grandson Tyler Michael Bremner; sister Susan (Michael) Burton of Liverpool; his big brother Steve Potucek and big sister, Joyce Potucek; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Friday, June 4, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St..
