With an angel on her shoulder, Rosemary T. Coyne, 84, of Baldwinsville, NY, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, August 9th. She was born in Geneva, NY to the late Peter and Anna Talomie.

Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Peter; her daughters, Jeannette (Jeffery) Manley and Cora-Ann (Michael) Gosson; granddaughters, Caitlin (Samual) Smith and Marcy Gosson; and great-grandsons, Daniel, Ryan and Jacob Smith. She is also survived by her brothers Richard Talomie and Dcn. Robert Talomie; a sister-in-law, Patricia Chimera and several devoted nieces and nephews.

Rosemary graduated from Geneva High School in 1959. She went on to attend State University Teachers College at Cortland and then Freeman Business Institute. Her first jobs were as a secretary for the Silverman Advertising Agency and the Herr Advertising Agency, while also working evenings in the family owned bookbindery, Erhard & Gilcher. In 1977, she became office manager for E&G. In the early years, she and Peter worked long hours to make the bindery a success, even having their young daughters sleep beside them in cardboard boxes as they worked well in to the night. After selling E&G, she went to work at what would become her favorite away-from-home job, office manager at the Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corp (GBAC). She retired in December 2022. If it were not for health reasons, we think she would still be working there. Everywhere Rosemary worked, she was adored and valued by her work family.

Since 1972, Rosemary has been a devoted communicant of Grace Episcopal Church, serving on Altar Guild, Vestry, Stewardship and Finance Committees, just to name a few. For more than 50 years, she worked every church chicken BBQ!

Rosemary enjoyed reading, brain-teasers, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. As a 30+ year Famous Artist season ticket holder, she treated her daughters and granddaughters to the theater any chance she could.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She embraced Peter's love for skeet shooting, accompanying him to competitions across the country, making life-long friends on their journey. She became invaluable to the NYS and the National Skeet Shooting Assoc. by helping to run their competitions for decades, becoming the only non-member to receive a lifetime achievement award. She supported her daughters in all their endeavors be it girl scouts, band concerts, marching band competitions, school musicals, and sports events. Without a doubt, what brought her the most happiness came from being a grandmother. She doted over her two granddaughters every chance she had. She would make countless trips every year to Maryland so as to not miss out on any special event Caitlin might have. From the time of Marcy's birth, every Friday was reserved for time together. Their standing date continued into adulthood with weekly Friday phone conversations. Then came three great-grandsons! Even though her health was declining, she enjoyed watching their high-energy antics be it in person or over Facetime!

Our hearts are broken but she is resting peacefully. Rosemary is now our guardian angel, watching over us.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Grace Church, 110 Oswego St, Baldwinsville, with burial immediately following in the Grace Church Memorial Garden.
