Rose Genthner Ryan, 96, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, at The Centers at St. Camillus, Syracuse, NY. Born in Johnson City, NY, she formerly lived in Johnson City, Clarence and Baldwinsville, NY. Rose was an avid golfer and creative country painter.

She was predeceased by her husband, Howard A. Ryan; siblings, Louise Burdash, Hank Genthner and Les Genthner; granddaughter, Kelly Ryan; and daughter-in-law, Suzanne Mack Ryan.

Survivors include her daughters, Judith Gaylord of Purcellville, VA, Margaret (Daniel) Johnson of Papillion, NE, and Kathleen O'Brien of Liverpool, NY; her son, Thomas Ryan of Orchard Park, NY; son-in-law Hugh Gaylord of Ft. Mill, SC; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Service and burial will be in Clarence, NY at a future date.
