Ronald A. Boyle, 78, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Ron owned and operated The Factory Printing Company before his retirement. For many years he was also an active volunteer fireman and served as a former chief of Belgium-Cold Springs Fire Department. He enjoyed working with people, and he especially loved children, volunteering to teach fire safety to young students and religious education on Sundays.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Boyle; his sisters Patricia Molessa (Gene), Sally Hutt (Tom) and Mary Kay Schramm (John); and several nieces and nephews. He was especially close and like a father to his nieces Maria Shurant, Cheryl Brusa, Michele Burchill and Erin Shurant, and was "Papa" to their nine children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville at 9:30am Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
