Robyn Iola Baker, better known as, "Aunt Bobbie" Went home to be with her Lord on, November 2, 2021, at the age of 74.

Her life verse: Proverbs, 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Robyn was born to Orrin and Iola Baker, on Feb. 27, 1947, in Marilla, NY. As a young child, she was called to teaching and to salvation through Jesus Christ. Little did she know, how these two callings would impact the rest of her life.

She went to college at Barrington College in RI for teaching. She spent most of her adult life teaching in Christian schools, from New York, Tenn., and N. Carolina. Not only molding young lives for the future, but also for the glory of God!

Aunt Bobbie found her second passion in caring for her youngest brother, Jay's family, from Darcie down to her great niece, Jenevieve. She dedicated over half her life and especially in her retirement to this passion. It gave her purpose and joy, in teaching, loving, guiding, and just spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She was still teaching when she died. She was a "Great" Aunt in the strongest sense of the word!

She now joins her mother, Iola and her father, Orrin, her brother, Jay, and her nephew, David (Baker)

Calling hours will be held at the Faith Baptist Church, 7312 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 on November 12, 2021, from 3 -5 PM, A funeral service will follow and conclude with a time of fellowship.
