Dr. Robert G. Wedemeyer, 79, of Sunset Terrace, Baldwinsville, died Thursday. Born in Bayonne, N.J., he moved to Baldwinsville in 1953. He graduated from Wagner College and received a medical degree from Flower Memorial (New York University). He retired in 1991 after 38 years as a physician in Baldwinsville. He was a member of the American Medical Association, a fellow in the American Academy of Family Practicioners. He was a member of Baldwinsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 153. He was a navy veteran of the Korean War and received a Purple Heart.

Survivors: His wife, the former Mary Joan McMenamin; a daughter, Susan M. Cuddy of Baldwinsville; two sons, Russ G. of Tucson, Ariz., and Jeffrey A. of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private. Calling hours will be 5 - 8pm, Monday, November 11, 2002 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
